Dead Dog Couloir on Torrey's Peak

Great day spent practicing skills need for Mt Rainier. I arrived at the trailhead at 9:45pm on Friday and the parking lot was packed with people camping. I woke up at 3am to get ready for the 4am start time. To my surprise, everyone else was up and getting ready to hit the snow before it warmed up. It was so much fun!

Pikes Peak Marathon

Yippeeee....I am so happy :) finished the Pikes Peak Marathon. It was so much fun on the way UP but the downhill was a little painful on the feet.

Y Couloir on Pikes Peak

Amazing day today...climbed the Y Couloir on Pikes Peak. I am thinking this is the hardest thing I've ever done. I was so happy to make it to the top. Incredible experience but I think I am done with high angle snow climbs for awhile :)
